Dr. Michael Kay, '93

Michael Kay has been the head of school at The Leffell School,  a K-12 Jewish independent institution in Westchester County, New York since 2013.  He holds a PhD in Educational Leadership and Jewish Studies from New York University and an undergraduate degree in religion and history from Harvard College. He is currently studying for rabbinical ordination at the Shalom Hartman Institute.

He and his wife Rachel live in White Plains with their children Ethan and Anna.

Ruthie Strosberg Simon, '90

Ruthie Strosberg Simon is currently the Executive Director of Yeshivat Chovevi Torah, a spiritual home for open and inclusive Orthodoxy and a hub for its 150 rabbis serving around the world. Ruthie has devoted 30 years to Jewish Education and communal service.

Ruthie and her husband Joel Simon, formally of Albany, live in Riverdale New York. They are parents to daughter Hattie, currently serving in the IDF, and son Avery.
