Parent Organization
At HACD, Parent Organization plays a vital role in the life of our school. It brings together parents from all grades to work on various programs, all meant to enhance the children’s educational and social experiences. Every family at HACD is automatically a paying member of Parent Org. If you wish, you can become an active member and help bring some extra joy to the children and staff of our school. You can also join the fun anytime!
Parent Organization is proud to have supported the following programs throughout the years:
- Breakfast/Lunch for faculty/staff workshops (3x a year)
- Rosh Hashanah treats for the entire school
- Chanukah family dinner
- Discounts on show tickets
- Purim gift bags for students and staff
- Israeli lunch sample for Yom Haatzmaut
- Ice cream for Shavout

Community Partnerships
The mission of the Jewish Federation of Northeastern New York is to build and maintain a strong and united Jewish community to ensure the creative survival and continuity of the Jewish people. It is the community’s central agency for meeting Jewish needs and articulating Jewish concerns in the Capital Region, Israel, nationally, and around the world.
PJ Library sends free Jewish children’s books to families across the world every month. PJ Library shares Jewish stories that can help your family talk together about values and traditions that are important to you. Children learn about the world around them through stories. PJ Library books can bring Jewish ideas and inspiration to you and your children.

Center for Jewish Day Schools strengthens the North American day school field. Prizmah is the network for Jewish day schools and yeshivas, enhancing their ability to excel and thrive, by deepening talent, catalyzing resources, and accelerating educational innovation.
